The sleeper trains: Train No.29 Up and 30 Down, which run between Yangon and Myandalay, were temporarily stopped since 08th January. It is still hard to know when they will be started to operate again. Yangon to Mandalay Train (Train No.5UP, 3UP, 11UP), and Mandalay to Yangon Train (Train No.6DOWN, 4DOWN, 12DOWN) are operating as usual.

The 100th Anniversary festival of Sule Pagoda is held from 20th January to 29th January. There is Zat-pwel and Ferris Wheel and crowded with people in it. Not only the people around the town but also foreigners take part in it.

Today, 23rd January, is the first day of the Chinese New Year. Without the beaa of chines temple, around our office situated at the centre of the china town will be quite more than before.

Renovatin of the Entrance of Traders Hotel, which started last year, has now finished. Almost all of the hotels are still fully booked, and there are some hotels which greatly increase their room rate from January.
