There is an entertainment show of the dancing group which contains 8 dancers and 7 actors from Okinawa, Japan. It is presentation by cooperation of Japan embassy and Ministry of culture (Myanmar) and it contains traditional dance, puppet show and Myanmar harp performance.

Opening of money changer centers can be seen in many places. At first, three places, Yangon International Airport, Myanmar Shopping Center near Sule pagoda and Asia Green Development Bank (Hledan Branch) will be opened. After that there is an arrangement to open other money changer centers at Super markets in downtown.


Myanmar ICT Exhibition was held at Tatmadaw Hall form Oct 20 to 23. It is so popular ICT Exhibition and people were so interesting the show of cash dispensers. We will see them in downtown soon.

It is “Thidingyut”, the season of charities in Myanmar. AfterThidingyut, the monks are freedom for going long or short journey. Themonks were donated goods including rice at Nyaung Pin Lay plaza where“Sanay” company is situated.

At the “White Cane Day” which is held in Myanmar every year,“Genky” also participated for 3rd time. Although there was showerpouring down in the morning, competitors tried their best to reach totheir goal. Both sides of the roads, yangonites were encouraging them.It is very pleasant scene to see that.

It is the full moon day of Thidingyut that the Buddha descended toearth from Tavatimsa, the abode of gods, where he preached dhamma byrepaying his filial gratitude to his past life mother (the noblemother reborn as a god). The devotees lit up lanterns and candles towelcome the Buddha and the festival of lights marks that event. Tillpresent, Buddhists pay homage to Buddha by offering lights at temples,stupas and pagodas such as Shwedagon pagoda.

From 1st October 2011, foreign currency exchange center has been opened at Theinbyu Street in Yangon. There are 6 counters of Myawaddy Bank, Inwa Bank, Kanbawza Bank, Cooperative Bank, Myanma Industrial Development Bank and Myanmar Oriental Bank. Money can be exchanged easily by showing national registration card for Myanmar citizen and passport for foreigners.
