There are changes at the roads in downtown Yangon. The street vendors from downtown 6 townships such as Kyauktada, Pabedan, Latha are being taken action by the order of Yangon City Development Committee. The market project which consists of 1600 shops has to be submitted at the meeting of Yangon Municipal Committee and press conference on 17th of June.

Airport tax of K 1000 to be charged at the airports around the country starting from 1st of June. Airport charges are paid at the air ticket counter by the person who take domestic airline and what nationality they are. Airport charges will be added at the air ticket price in the future said by the concerning official.

The results of matriculation exam which took place in March were announced on 4th of this month and this year announcement is earlier than in the past years. It can be said that this exam make judgment for life because the enrollment for university and specialized subjects are divided by exam results. There are students and their parents who pride on their achievements but also students who depressed for their exam results.

1st June is the first opening day of the government schools in Myanmar. It is now starting the new academic year. In front of the schools in Yangon there are crowded with so many cars which transport the students like the previous year.
