There is much talked about the wedding reception of the famous celebrity couple from the movies in Myanmar Journals. Pyae Ti Oo (actor) and Endra Kyaw Zin (actress) told that their wedding receptions will held 6 times at 5 places such as their home, hotels and monastery, etc within three weeks starting from 1st January 2011 according to Myanmar traditional customs and culture. ( the ceremony of engagement, the signing ceremony of marriage, ceremony of offering alms to the monks, the consecration by pouring water on the hands of the couple, wedding reception and dinner). Make-up, hair style, wedding dresses and jewelery have been sponsored by respective persons and their wedding receptions ceremonies will be broadcast from Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) and MRTV-4 channel.

Year end sales promotion, music concerts and model shows are being held for Christmas and New Year season. The concert of 10th anniversary of the Hip Hop music in Myanmar, other middle age favoritemusic bands (Iron Cross) and the concerts of famous singers are being celebrated at hotels and shopping malls.

China Industrial Expo Myanmar Exhibition has been held from 15 to 18December. The export products such as motor cycles, agricultur almachines , buses and many kinds of motor vehicles have been exhibited by 42 Chinese companies at their respective show rooms. A lot ofYangonites went to the exhibition and studied.

Business meeting between Myanmar and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs including 28 groups of Vietnamese businessmen was held at the meeting room of Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber and Commerce Industry.Vietnam airline ran Ho-chiming- Yangon route last month and Ho-chiming business groups were very interested in doing business in Myanmar.There was the discussion for the trade between Vietnam and Myanmar.

The number of visitors (foreigners) to Shwe Dagon Pagoda and Bagan is increasing up to 158.5% from 2010 January to November compare with last year the same period and there were about 152,368 tourists. On the other hand, the number of travelers for the domestic trips is decreasing while number of Myanmar people who go to foreign countries such as Thailand is increasing.

It is the services including TV channel, internet and Ip phone of　Sky Net that will be launched in December. Now pay channel can only be　used, other 50 international channels such as ESPN, CNN, Star movies　and foreign movies with Myanmarlanguage subtitle can be watched. As a　promotion period, the price is decreasedto 50% off from December 2010　to February 2011. The cost for receiver, antenna and card is in　amount of K42,000 for 1year. Internet and IP phone services willbe　started from 2011 April.

ThKorean film festival was celebrated in Yangon. Korea famous actorSong Ei Gook and actress Li Haa Na came to Myanmar for the promotionof film festival. "So many audience applauded heartily for theirfavorite Korean movie stars.

The four Japanese musicians' concert will be held at the Strand hotel, Yangon Myanmar on December 11, 2010. It would be performed bythe combination of the Japanese traditional music & songs and modernmusic in harmony with dancing & feeling the music.
