The forth singing contest of Japanese songs is to be held at Chatrium Hotel on August 14. As first step, the applicants must submit tape or CD of their recording to the Japanese embassy and the persons who are chosen can compete at this contest.

Japanese wheat noodle restaurant (Aji Sai) which can be said the first Japanese wheat noodle shop in Myanmar is opened in this month. That ‘raman’ noodle is made by young Japanese who is round about 20 years old and the price is reasonable for Myanmar people. Myanmar traditional boxing competition is to be celebrated at Thuwana stadium at 1:00pm July 25. The competitors are Thar Thar & Dawn The Chay, Soe Lin Oo & Maik Tai San, Soe Moe Hein & Tha Byay Nyo, Twe Ma Shone & Win Tun.

This is Myanmar snack called 'Motelinmaya' ('couple snack' in direct translation as two pieces are bonded together) which is similar to Japanese snack 'Takoyaki'. It is made by quail's eggs and beans instead of squids in that snack.
