Mingalar market was on fire since 8am of this morning, May 24. It is a famous market especially for wholesale of clothes and was built for a long time. The fire began from the 4th floor of the market and keep on burning till 12pm.

Admission fee for 'Inle' lake rose to $5 from May 1.

Padauk (kind of flower which usually blossom in Summer especially in Thingyan water festival) which has been expected by many people blossom at last. This year rainy season is later than usual. Now all yangonites are so glad because of the rain and Padauk.
