Sushi restaurant which is operated by Myanmar has been opened in China Town. Although Yangonites are becoming to enjoy eating sushi more than before, we are afraid of whether the restaurants use generator or not for electricity when the power off.

The Kasone's full-moon day that Buddha was born is called as Buddha day and Buddha day for this year is on 8-May. On that day, the sacred Budi banyan trees thatcultivated in precinct of pagodas and stupas in Myanmar are poured water on them.

Myanmar new year festival (Thingyan) has already finished. Every year it is usually raining and blossoming Padauk flowers (kind of flower that is the symbol of Myanmar) during that festival but this year in Yangon, Padauk has not blossomed yet because of the late coming of the rain.

Myanmar new year Thingyan holiday period are coming. Our company is situated in the building where there are shops for foodstuffs and shops are crowded with customers before new year festival and there is traffic jam since morning. Our Sanay company's office will be closed from April 10 to 21 as new year holiday. We kindly request our customers that we will reply the email which arrive during Thingyan holidays after 22nd April. Stages are being build in downtown of Yangon for Thingyan water festival which will fall next week. There are rumors that the number of stages in Yangon will be less than previous years.

The concert of France Pop musicians and Za Za Fournier will be held at Alliance Francaise in Yangon. National Contest of Francophone Songs are to be entertained from 5:30 pm and the concert begins at 7:30 pm.
