Myanmar New Year festival (Thingyan) is coming near."April Queen II" VCD & CD are being sold as the songs of festival wich will fall on April 13. There are 17 singers sung int this CD and it consists of 12 Song.

"Amara" river cruise which has been running in Ayeyawaddy river since 2003 issued the itinerary for this year. There are various trips such as 2 nights 3 days trip,4 nights 5 days trip from Mandalay to Bagan and 6 nights 7 days trip from Mandalay to Bamaw. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are to be served throughout the river.

Friedrich Kleinknecht, the fabulous cello player who played in October last year during the First International Week of Classical Music in Yangon, is back. Mr Kleinknecht will, together with the Gitameit Music Centre play works from Handel, Bach and Wagner.The concert on Sunday the 14th of March started at 3:00 PM. in the Inya Lake hotel.

The new product of ready made noodle which tastes like Kim Chi is now produced by Noodle Nippon. The factory for this noodle is situated in one of the industry zones within Yangon and it has been sold K 500 per cup.

The night train for Yangon - Bagan trip starts to run from March 10,2010. It is the first train in Myanmar for foreign travellers and it consits of 4 carriges which are imported from Japan.

2 ordinary class carriges, US$ 30 per person, 62 seats x 2

1 upper class carrage, US$ 40 per person,40 seats x 1 (include with air-con)

1 sleeper carrage, US$ 50 per person, 4 sleepers x 4 rooms (with air-con + toilet)

2 special sleeper carrages, US$ 50 per person, 4 sleepers x 4 rooms (with air-con, toilet, shower, kitchen)

Besides there is one food compartment. The time table for these train is:

There is Sakura library situated in downtown of Yangon which intends the young person who are learning Japanese Language. The membership be see for 6 months costs K 5000 and it can loan only books. CD and DVD can also be loaned for the member who pay K 10000.
