Code Division Multiple Access ( CDMA ) phone lines are to be sold out in Yangon and Mandalay from the beginning of December with a set price of K 500,000. However these phones can be used only the townships where they bought.

Naypyidaw railway station is used to stop for the trains from Yangon to Naypyidaw instead of Pyinmana station which was used to stop before. It is now become the main railway station starting all the rail trips like Yangon station.

The use of plastic bags will be banned in Yangon as in Mandalay from the end of November. But the colourless bags can be used and the factories which produce colour plastic bags will not be allowed for production.

Lighting festival was celebrated all over the country as the 1st November is the full moon day of Tansaungmone. Tansaungmone lighting festival was also held at Uppatathanti pagoda of Naypyitaw, new capital of Myanmar, which look like the Shwedagon pagoda from Yangon and it was teeming with so many visistors.
