Yangon Expo 2009 had been started from 20-March and many people came to this show. Foods, electronic and electrical products, medicines, various indigenous medicines and other materials produced from Myanmar can be bought until 23-March.

Fifth Competition of kite fighting and kite design will be held from 13-March to 27-March at Kyaikasan Stadium. Participants can enroll intoMyanmar Traditional Sport Committee at Aung San Stadium. First prize for individual game is 30000 kyat and first prize for group game is 40000 kyat.

In previous day, foreigner visitors are riding by Dyna Truck up to Yathay (Hermit) Mountain if they pilgrim to KyeikHteeYoe pagoda. From there, they go on their trip by foot up to Pagoda Platform. Only Myanmar citizens have a chance to climb up to Pagoda Platform by car. Nowadays, Myanmar citizens also cannot climb up to Pagoda Platform by car. They also can do up to Yathay Mountain.

Sule Bridge that Sule Pagoda Road can be crossed on this bridge is crowded with many cross walkersbecause this bridge at Sule Pagoda Road had been already finished.

Matriculation Exam has being held starting from 11-March. Which universities that can be attended will be decided according to the result of this exam.Parents can be seen at the school gate with anxiety. This exam will be continued since 20-March.

Bagan Thiripyitsaya Sakura Hotel in Bagan will be renamed to Bagan Thiripyitsaya Sanctuary Resort starting from 1-3-2009. However, hotel management and staff will be there as usual and it will change name only.

Opening ceremony by sharing good deeds of new monastery building with three rooms donated by International Angel Association (NGO) in Japan had beenheld at BaKa Monastic Education School in KaWatChaungGyi Village on 28-Feb. Myanmar Traditional Orchestra had entertained in this ceremony.
