Myanmar Traditional Kickboxing Competition will be held on 28-February and 1-March. On 28-February, Twey Ma Shung will play against with Win Tun(YCDC)and Shwe Sine(Myaing Gyi Gu) will play against with Yan Gyi Aung (YCDC). On 1-March, Lone Chaw will play against with Saw Nga Man (PhaAn) and Tun Tun(Myawadi) will play against with Saw Ga Pa Yae Mue (TonTay). This game will be held at Thuwanna Gymnasium and entrance fee are 8000 kyats and 4000 kyats.

Silk Air new promotion has been now started. Tickets will be sold for 3 days long starting from 27-2-09 to 1-3-09. Life span for ticket is up to 15-May and it is 14 open tickets. Costs are FEC 415 for Japan trip, FEC 700 for Europe and FEC 900 for America but it has without tax and fuel fees.

Min Thain Kha, who died in last year and who was the most famous astrologer in Myanmar, won the reward, Doctor of Astrology 2009, honoured by Astrological Research Project of Cala Catta University in India. Zin Yaw Ni, one of his pupils, went to India and received this reward on 8-Feb-2009 on behalf of him.

Stage Shows and Fun Fairs will be held in Yangon as a symbol of Happy Valentine's Day. Myayeiknyo Hotel will hold Happy Valentine's Day on 14-Feb.Many Celebrated Singers in Myanmar will participate in it. This will be started at 4pm. Entrance fee is 4000 kyat.

Annual Academy Awarding Ceremony had been held on 7-Feb of this month. The whole country watched this ceremony. Kyaw Yee Aung won the best actor for this year. There was one sorrowful thing because no one cannot win the prize for best actress for this year.

Documentary Film about Chin Race directed and managed by a celebrated actor,Lwin Moe has been now produced and it starts to be sold. It is sure that other races in Myanmar will watch this film with interest because it took the custom and nature of Chin Race. A package with two DVD will be sold with 3700 kyats.
