Thai Bazaar Day will be held at Kandawgyi Palace Hotel on 21 of this month. Thaiproducts will be sold there. They are cosmetics, silk wear, and various kinds offoods and so on.... Moreover, Thai Food Restaurant will be opened and Thai foodscould be got there. Entrance fee is free and time is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.Some money from selling will be donated to Nargis Victim Regions. It is sure that there will be busy because of Sunday.

Director Zin Yaw Mg Mg who achieved most academy award in Myanmar is taking a movie, A Shadow of Past, with Myanmar celebrated actress Eaindra Kyaw Zin and new actor Aung Thura in Switzerland. This is the first movie taking in Switzerland and It is expected to be inscribed record in Myanmar Film History.

For the victims of Nargis Cyclone, the artists from Myanmar are finding the fun by holding the Art Exhibition and other shows. Likewise, one of Myanmar celebrated music band, Iron Cross, hold their live show as fan fair on August 24 and 25 at Thuwanna Stadium. Sponsors are Alpine Purified Drinking Water and Myanmar Beer. Spectators at this show are nearly over three times comparing to other shows.

In these days, handicrafts are maintained and valued all over the world. Moreover, it can be seen that new invented handcrafts are extending their marketplace. Now, with Asean leading had held "Asean Handcrafts Competition" in Thai. There are divided in six kinds of competition and Ko Wunna Kyaw from Myanmar participated in this competition with his invented handicraft created by coconut and the first prize of Asean Awards of Excellence In Arts and Crafts is awarded to him. This prize handicraft is a set of jet made by coconut shell and it took about eighty days to create. It is known that Ko Wunna Kyaw will hand over his arts and crafts to whom interested.

With responsible officers' management, carvings are being made from big trees toppled down by Nargis Cyclone. Professional woodcarver U Htun Wai from Dar Pain Township, who has well experiences for over twenty years, and over eighty membersof him are making these carvings at People Park and People Square in Yangon. They are making various kinds of carvings such as bird, tiger, elephant, dragon, ancient women style images and so on. They finished over one hundred and sixty kinds of carvings until now. They have a plan to sell these carvings if all are finished.
