It is the present time that welcomes to Fruits Season. Durians, mangos and lichees and so on.., various kinds of fruits come from Southern Myanmar, are being sold at market. Especially, Durian is cheap but good taste. It is abundant and price is 3500 Kyats for each. In Japan, it is not rather easy to have. Just one time is wanted to be tasted surely though there have many people who can't bear that smell. Just trying once, the taste of Durian is going to be obsessed.

It seems the rainy season starts to enter quickly after Thingyan Festival was over.It rains for three or four days long and roads and streets in downtown areaare brimmed over with water. But it is early compares with previous years and but for the grace of rain, it is not only feels cool and fresh taste but also makethe temperature goes down. By the way, when a question, Do you like rainy season?,is asked to twenty eight Myanmar people who have beside me, only nine personsreplied me "Yes". Myanmar people seem not to like rainy season.

Hindu Festival had been held for three days long from 18-April to 20-April. Indian Foods, Indian Materials and Indian CD & DVD had been sold along the show market street, pwe market street. Indian music and songs were spreading everywhere out and it is like living in India at that moment.

This Thingyan Fetival was also very alive with teeming crowd.This Thingyan Festival lasted for five days and was held from 12-April to 16-April. During ThingyanFestival, people were wet and many places were crowded. The boiled gluten rice balls, that is a white gluten rice ball put fillings with jaggery, are made in Thingyan Festival. Friends in the everywhere made this together. This boiled gluten rice balls are made at home and then donated to other houses and children. Itis a Myanmar's custom that a family goes to the Pagoda after Thingyan Festival. At that time, On Pagoda's Platform was filled with pilgrimages. All people are tired and restart their job because Thingyan Festival was over.

Thingyan Festival that are waiting gradually is drawing near to fall. It will be long for five days from 12 April to 16 April. Pavilions are finished here and there and now it is a important time of Thingyan Festival. Although it looks a bore because pavilions are less than the last year it will be surely alive with teeming crowd during Thingyan Festival. So, Thingyan Festival is an amused and happy festival.

New Coffee Circles Shop will be opened at Guest House Care on Damazadi Road. Although the outer parts of shop has not been repaired the inner parts seem to be neat and tidy.The decorations give the impression of good look though shop is not opened up to now and it can't say how about the price. It is a shop that guests from abroad may be convenient and satisfied.

Today, Padauk Flowers as a sing of Thingyan are blooming everywhere. The scent of Padauk in the air makes our minds cool and fresh. Myanmar Ladies wearing Padauk Flowers on her hair can be seen. Thingyan Festival comes to near to fall gradually after Padauk Flowers bloomed everywhere. Myanmar People are waiting for Thingyan Festival excitedly by imaging with various ways.

Nanda Hlaing, Myanmar's Celebrated Actress, will marry in coming May. Most of young men are stingy. Her bridegroom-to-be is a son of famous and sucessful business man in Myanmar. Nanda Hlaing can also grasp her fans in Japan because of her beauty. It will soon become the time of beginning of Buddhist lent. So, wedding ceremonies are used to held before this time arrive because it is a Myanmar's custom that wedding ceremony cannot be held during period of the Buddhist lent.

Thingyan pavilions have been built gradually since the time April is entering. Tickets for entrancing pavilion are started to be sold and ads for tickets can be seen in every places. Building the pavilions is centralized to Inya Road for this Thingyan. These pavilions are leaded by youth and they are affording to supply the water and other facilities. Moreover, they are trying to create the grand pavilions to be fashioned and to be able for many people's participating.
