In Myanmar new model jeep (AZY-J-001) has been now produced.Fuel consumption rate is thirty miles per gallon (approximately 48kg).Engine is made in Japan. Jeeps are very popular in Myanmar and jeeps made in Myanmar are also like this. In this year, the numbers of car in Yangon are more increased than the previous year. Sometimes, it can cause the car to be jammed. That is why this is trend to be the car city.

In recent time, the new season which the fruit, called ice-potatoes have been grown-up in ground, is abundant comes again. It used to be sold at market by piling up like a peak in this season. The annual Japan Film Festival sponsored by Japan Embassy will be held starting from 23rd January and it will be long for four day. The place is at Thamada Cinema that is not rather so far from downtown area.Tickets can be get free at Thamada Cinema. The three films, *The Twilight Samurai, Dora Heita and Kikujiro No Natsu*, will be shown in this year. For it is seldom to get the good opportunity to know the cultures and customs of Japan race for Myanmar people, we wish the many people to come and see this festival.

From starting January 15,the asking for alms show for Wut Kyawe Taw Pyae (Free From Suffering) pagoda in Bagan had been held for nine days long. It is asking for alms by putting the image of Buddha enshrining into the stupa on the car and circling around the town. Although the show like this can be seen many places in Myanmar the asking for alms show for the image with different style and value are alive with teeming crowd.

UTOPIA TOWER is now opened in Kandawgyi Garden.It is five storeys building built with stone around the exterior of the playground.There are many games and a verygood coffee shop from first floor up to third floor.At fourth floor,there are massage rooms, hair dressing salon, billiards and so on...that especially intendedto the man.At fifth floor,top floor,there are spa and beauty salon for women.For golf and other many games can be played.It is the playground that makes everybody,both man and children,to be a happy day.

January 8 is the first day of New Year of Kayin Race in Myanmar. In that day,they celebrated the new year festival at ArLainNgarSint Pagoda (Five Step Of Sprial Stairs) in Insein Township. There are many shops that sell the Kayin traditional longyi,clothes and toys as souvenir. Moreover,Kayin traditional dances (Kayin DoneYein) are performed there. It is a day crowded with people who like the traditional clothes.

In January 4, entertainment and other fan fair parties are held happily in the whole region of Myanmar as the independent day's souvenir. Most of the streets are blocked by the time of playing the games for the children. It is the funny day for the children because snacks and gifts are presented to the children who win the game. Moreover, it is the full laughing day, for it is not only child and but also adult are participated in these games.

January 4 is the Indenpendant Day of Myanmar.Two kinds of stmaps valued 50 kyats and 100 kyats has been printed as souvenir of this day. These stamps can be bought in every districts and region in Myanmar. 50 kyats stamps is shown in figure and Naypyitaw municiple office is designed in the middle of the 100 kyat stamp. These stamps are very beautiful and priceless treasure for the stamp fans.
