Famous actor U Ahnt Kyaw well-known for his role of villain passed away on 11th February 2007. He started his career as an actor in 1960. He acted in many films as a villain. He received an academy award in 1973. He was 70 when he passed away.

This photo shows competition of making Htamane (delicaey made of glutimous rice,oild, sesamum and ground-nut) at Shwedagon Pagoda. Competitions are held at several places on the eve of fullmoon day. The delicacy is offered to Pagodas on fullmoon day. It is said that eating the snack promates health.
