Pun Hlaing International Hospital was opened officially on May 29. OPD will open on June 8 and IPD on 10. Foreign doctors are also employed at the hospital. Opening ceremony was later than previously scheduled.

Regular broadcasting of a new TV channel "MRTV4" has started. A special receiver and a smart card are needed in order to receive the broadcasting. Viewers can watch four channels_foreign films with Myanmar subtitle, cartoon, MRTV4 and MRTV3. A receiver costs 98500 kyats and a card 5850 kyats. .

The office of Pan Hlaing Hospital has opened. The hospital will be fully operated soon. A lot of patients are expected at the hospital, which is No.1 in terms of medical equipment and doctors. They have planned to employ foreign doctors at the hospital.

Mr.Takeda, a Japanese chef, who prepares French Foods, is working for the restaurant (Brasserie The Thiripyitsaya) in Sakura Residence. He is going to move to Thiripisaya Sakura Hotel in Bagan, which is under the same management as Sakura Residence, starting from October.

Construction of observation tower in Bagan has finished. Visitors are no longer allowed to go up to some temples and pagodas in the cultural heritage site on completion of the tower. Enterance fee into the tower is US$ 10 per head.
