ICT Exhibition 2005 will take place at Myanmar Convention Centre from March 29 to 31. Significant items in this exhibition are note books computers and MP3 players on mobile phones. Young girls in their uniforms promoting sales are long-lasting attraction.

Tokyo Japanese Style Restaurant opened at Grand Mee Yahta Hotel this month. The high-class lounge is open only at night time at the moment. It will open at day time starting next month.

March 24 was an official holiday, full moon day of Tabaung.Kandawgyi Park was packed with people who shunned scorching day time and who visited the park on their return from Shwedagon Pagoda. There were Myanmar Anyient dance show and humorus talk shows in the park.

"Sule Kyauk Kyaw".This shop on Sule Pagoda Road is famous for its jelly drink. Small lumps of jelly are served with sugar juice and ice. The drink sells like hot cakes at the shop during hot season like this.

Local pilgrimage trips are on the increase in this period of the end of cold season and the beginning of hot season. A trip takes from one week to two works depending on itinerary.Most trips are made to Shwe Set Taw, which is not accessible in other seasons. Package Tours are available to a number of destinations including Mrauk U,Maw La Myaing and Chaung Tha.

This building in Maymyo was head quarters of British Army. It also used to be the headquarters of No.15 Japanese battalion. At present, it is a building of Myanmar Army.

Jetty in Kalaywa along Chindwin River. One can take a water craft at this jetty to go to Monywa and Homemalin.

Kundaung village in Tamu was on the route to Imphal mountain- pass. The only reaming building from bombardment is a pagoda. At the place of the station of Japanese Army, only a ruined building can be seen now.

The scale model of yangon International Airport. The project of upgrading is well upgrading is well underway and it is hoped to finishi in July next year.
