A credit card company MMS (Mercantile Management Service Pte Ltd) has started credit card service recently. At the moment, most of the cards cannot be used locally. But, cards can be used if one has made agreement with this company. Some hotels, travel agencies and souvenir shops have entered into agreement with the company. It is a bit expensive because service charges for charging of US$ and Singapore dollar and services charges for MMS. Deposited of high price, Visa and Master cards can be used at the moment.

Language schools are popular these days. There are a lot of private schools that cater for Japanese, English courses. But, English, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean and Malaysia courses are available at this school. Number of schools rendering multi-courses are increasing.

One should take high-way buses from Yangon to Bago near Thakhin Mya Park. It costs K 300 per head for foreigners.

Road-side-stalls in Chaina-town cannot be found any time these days. The shops are to open from 15:00-20:00 hours according to the rules issued by Yangon City Development Committee. During that time, rows of the stalls are packed with people. But, shopkeepers are preparing to close their shops at about 20:00 hours. It is said that they have a plan to allow the stalls to open collectively at a place.

Pan Hlaing International Hospital is scheduled to finish in February next year. On completion, it will become the most modern hospital in Myanmar. They have plans to hire foreign doctors.
