About Myanmar from Paris(4)
A friend of mine and I went around Paris by underground train a magnificent city. No train of bus was running on June 3, because the was a nation wide strike. People from Paris have to walk to their offices and schools. A Japanese woman from the company where I bought return ticket gad to go on foot to walk for about one and half hours. It is said son of my friend had to walk to school for about 25 minutes. I spent the whole that day at my friend's house. On Jun 4, the city became alive again with buses and trains full of people. People frowned at a Japanese girl who was exclaiming whenever more passengers got on the train. The train stopped at every station. The exclamation died down because as people pushed into the inner part of the train. Although there are people who look at you angrily when you bump into them and who say "sorry" with smile. But, according to my friend's words, there are not much good-natured people in the city. There was a strike again on June 16. The strike last year lasted for about 45 days, it was said. About Myanmar from Paris(3)
I visited Gime Oriental Museum, which is famous for its exhibits. There are artifacts from Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia and Cambodia. I went around the museum looking at Buddhist and Hindu figurines. It is a pity that there is no artifact from Myanmar. Moreover, the Buddha image from Afghanistan is on display. Is it culture from Hellenism? With high impression, I was looking at the figurines comparing Buddhist artifacts from Asia. (K.K)

About Myanmar from Paris(1)
I feel reluctant again this story is also about me. I made a trip to Paris suddenly for I want to experience atmosphere of other continent. But, it was not a joke that I could go out of Myanmar. I intended to make the trip on expiration of the visa to Myanmar, which is still valid up to September. But, I gave up. I had to get a D.Form. For this, I had to give back FRC certificate to the immigration department. To be able to enter Myanmar again, I applied for a visa to Myanmar in Thailand and headed for Paris. River from Paris. Asean U 18 football match is being held at Thuwunna stadium. Myanmar played 1:1 draw with Singapore team, beat Laos 8:0 and beat Thailand 5:0. It has no loss so far. It will play with Vietnam team today. Young people gathered at teashops. On the day when Myanmar played with Thailand, they waited in patience although the match started about 30 minutes late because of heavy rain. About 50 or 60 people showed their encouragement to the players of Myanmar in crazy manner. Myanmar beat Vietnam 2:0.(K.K)

The cover man is Yaza Ne Win, the most famous actor in Myanmar. He appears in films, ads and VCDs. His father was a famous actor. His sister is a famous singer. He suddenly becomes famous just after 40. He has a good name without any scandal with girls. Is it because of good teaching of his mother. Media says nothing ill about him. They said his goods, interesting action, has become the same. Everyone wants to use him in their movies. He also wants to appear. But, greater frequency may make audience bored. I cannot make any comment on him because I haven't seen ay movie of him. His action may change movie world of Myanmar. It is comman for comedians to appear in a movie as supporting actors. Yaza Ne Win's action may be interesting than humour of comedians. I think they can create movies without jokes. He may be an enemy of comedians. He becomes an important actor. His recent CD was sold well. (K.K)

On the cover are Zaw Paing and Chaw Su Khin. Both are famous singers. Zaw Paing's famous album two years ago was the copy of "Must have been high" by Boyzone. Chaw Su Khin album was copy of Japanese songs. If an album is famous it may be Japanese or American. They also copy Chinese music. Chinese album has a lot of copies of Japanese music. Myanmar people think Japanese Kita No Haru a Chinese song because Chinese singer copied from Japanese. It has been a long time. At the Karaoke lounges with a lot of Japanese, there are a lot of Chinese album. About half of albums are old Japanese songs although they are in sung in Chinese. (K.K)
