There is no programme on only two channels of Myanmar TV. Movies from Taiwan are still popular. But, they seemed to get bored with these movies recently. Japanese drama movies became popular.

In 1980, Come De Garson Brand black fashion of Ms. Reikawakubo conquered all over Japan. There was a time when they put on black fashions. Wearing black fashions had become in vogue recently in Myanmar, although it was not common for young Myanmar girls to put on them in the past. But, the fashion is not black in both appear and lower parts like Japanese women in the past. They mainly put on black in upper part and suitable colour in lower part.

This is in front of the hospital which I introduced yesterday. Although location is not very good; it is famous and always crowded with customers. The secret is that the tea is made by Mr. Uok who has underwent training in Singapore. Although, prices of tea has gone up, it costs 70 Kyats for a cup of tea here. Is that for the good taste of tea, although it is a bit expensive here and crowded? You can see advertisements on the walls here like other famous restaurants. That is the sign "No branch office". The shop follows the foot steps of others.

This building is situated on Banyadala Road in Tamwe township. It has a big compound like a hotel or a university. It is a high class hospital. There will be hospitals at Tamwe Plaza this year. Therefore, this is a good fact for residence in Tamwe.

This is the shopping centre which was recently in vogue among the fashionable and the well-to-do. There are a lot of shops and special ones too. If you go up the right stairs opposite ground floor at the centre, you will get to Yankin Management centre. International telephone, Fax, E-mail and etc are available 7 days a week. It costs 500 Kyats to e-mail one page of A 4 size paper.

This institute of Foreign Language has been up graded to a university in 1996 with formal procedure. There are English, French, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Thai and etc. There are also 8 Myanmar course for foreigners basic, intermediate and advance, 2-year-diploma course and three-year-master-course. Most of the students are Korean, then Japanese. Other foreign students Thai, Chinese, Laos, Vietnamese, Indian and Swedish are doing Myanmar course at the university.

When I went to the party in Yuzana Garden Hotel yesterday, I saw a very beautiful girl among the beautiful ones like multi-coloured flowers. She was accompanied by Ya Wai Aung, a young actor. I had no idea that she was a model or a new actress. Ya Wai Aung acted in the commercials of Yamasu umbrella and Mitsuha bags and appears in many karaoke videos.

I went to an interesting party along with Toe Toe who donated clothes in the school for blinds. I took my camera for I had heard stars of screen will be present there when I got the wedding hall of Yuzana Garden Hotel, there were many guests there. I saw those who often appear on TV. Almost half of guests were from hairdressing saloons. They are like multi-coloured gays flowers in bright dresses. High light of the party was a gay by the name of Khin San Win who is very successful in hair dressing business.

There are two restaurants and a teashop in University of Foreign Languages. The students call them "canteen". They are crowded with customers in daytime. Japanese students and other students are from separate classes. But, they get a chance to exchange news and friendly talks at this time.

Commercial of Kan Baw Za Bank, recently, was a topic on TV. In previous, the actor Dwe and famous football players acted and it was a great hit. In this commercial, five famous are Dwe and Lwin Moe who appeared in the same commercials. The three actresses were specially watched. They were Htet Htet Moe Oo, Khaing Thin Kyi and Eindra Kyaw Zin-the best three in commercials. It was for the first time for Htet Htet Moe Oo to act in a commercial with other actresses from my records of three years in Yangon. Was it a change for queen of TV commercials, Htet Htet Moe Oo? Let's watch happily how will the other banks compete the commercial in which the best actors and actress starred. This is the photo of KanBaw Za branch in Tamwe. It is bright the whole night with lights.

Stage show of Emperor and Lazy Club Bands was held at Lion City Restaurant on 9 June. About ten singers such as Zaw Win Htut, Zaw Paing, Myo Kyawt Myaing, Ringo, Haymar Nay Win, Chaw Su Khin and etc entertained the crowded audiences with songs. Admission fee was 4000 Kyats per head.

Myanmar traditional boxing tournament was held on 9 and 10 June at Thuwunna Stadium. The place was crowded with fans. Four pairs of Myanmar and Australian boxers participated in the tournament. All Myanmar boxers beat Australian boxers. High Light was the match of Wan Chai and Amateur Boxing Champion Doug Evans. The former beat the latter knock out.

This is a school for blinds in Insein set up by a monastery. There are 200 people of various age - man, woman, old and young. They lives there doing courses. Toe Toe, a famous gay, owner of Cover Mark Hair Dressing Saloon donated 200 longyis and food to the people there to mark his birthday.

Although it was said Myanmar traditional dance, models from Talents and Model Agency run by Tin Moe Lwin were performing the dance in the costume that was not like traditional ones.It was for the party of Sony held at Sedona Hotel.Two days after that, models put on sporty dresses at a show sponsored by MK Fashion Shop. No matter it is a gorgeous show, sporty dress show and causal dress show, these beautiful models headed by Tin Moe Lwin were hired.

A lot of paper works involved in matters related to schools, offices and etc in Myanmar. So, copier shops can do business very well. There are many copier shops with the signboards like photograph in Pansodan street where there are tuition and offices. The shops are always crowded with students and office workers.

I came across shooting of a TV commercial starred by Het Htet Moe Oo at Railways Residence near Bogyoke Aung San Market a friend of mine lives. With her slim body she was very lovely in real life. Before the shooting she was chatting and joking. But, when the director said "ready" she became serious and concentrated. It was very surprising to see her acting like that.

Myanmar Traditional boxing Tournament will be held at National Stadium Thuwunna on 9 and 10 June. Famous boxers from Austrian Amateur Boxing League (AABL) will box against famous Myanmar boxers such as Wunchai and others. Admission fee is 4000K.

Last month, we stated that Htet Htet Moe Oo had divorced with Min Oo. But, her husband put an ad in a paper that he is still her legal husband. There were rumour that he did so for want of money.
