It is written in the book that population of Tokyo is 7 millions and Osaka 4 millions. Did they used the data of 30 years ago ? I think they should make sure of it enquiring at the Japanese Embassy before. When they carried photos of Director Ichikawa and articles about Kurusawa Akiroo, they also expressed the wrong facts.

Than Lyin region was shown in "Today Myanmar" programmee of NHK in 1997. Mr. Ho was introduced by NHK to have started a Habour City Project in the region. He went to Thailand and did gem trading business 30 years ago. He was very successful. He went there with his father. He can speak about 6 Languages. Later, Thai economy and value of thai baht has declined. I went there to see how that project was doing. Thilawa port can be reachedwithin 20 minutes from Thanlyin Bridge. This report is about Thanlyin region. It can be reached within forty-five minutes from downtown Yangon after crossing Maha Bandoola Bridge and Thanlyin Bridge. But foreigners don't go there very often. In 18 century, Thanlyin was like the front door of Myanmar. And it was called Syriam them. It is said that portugul Deparito came to this region in the middle of 16 century and set up autonomy. He was executed in 1599 and the remains of autonomy had lost.
