Scientists have estimated that Myanmar has got over the cold wave. But it is rather hot in Myanmar now. On 5th January, maximum temperature is 34 degree Celsius and minimum temperature is 18 degree Celsius. A little cold in early morning and late evening. It is advisable to bring long sleeve shirts or warm clothes.

There were tumultuous crowds on the eve of last New Year. Roads were blocked in well-known places. The people celebrate every year. There were fashion-shows till mid night at Bogyoke Market. Count down light boards ware erected at hotels.
There were some drunkards on the road as previous years. But ordinary people remain uncharged. It seemed that they were enjoying their selves welcoming New Year. Temperature is steady now. Myanmar has passed coldest time. It is a little cold in early mornings and late evening. So you should wear warm clothes.

Yangon is rather cold now. Minimum temperature is 10° C. Most put an warm clothes. On 26th December, the minimum temperatures are 10.5°C in Yangon, 8.3°C in Bago, 8°C in Mandalay, 8.5°C in Manywa, 1°C in Pyin Oo Lwin and 8.2°C in Bagan.
