Strange Rain

Today unseasonably it rained cats and dogs for about an hour at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. These were an occasional crash of thunder. It was very horrible. At the same time a thunderstorm was coming from southern countries.

As the heat abated the weather became cool I sat down on the chair at the veranda gazing at the rain.

This year it was very hot in Yangon. So men as well as trees and plants were unbearable. The day temperature was at 43:4 degree. After 2 o'clock the temperature was at 34 degree. I kept the cooler under 30 degree. But there was not a change till the evening.

Towards 5 o'clock in the morning the degree at 37.8 and the weather was cool. This year the rain was late four weeks.

As the heat was intense people were cautioned not to bathe at the mid-day time, not to enter the air-conditioned cars suddenly and not to drink alcohol in the daily newspapers.

Although the coolers were put at the walks of the class room owing to electrical faults the sailing fans did not work. For these things teachers and students had to be patient for their school-lessons starting at 7'o'clock in the morning.

I would make the world healthier. I must self-appraise myself. Although I don't know how people see the rain. I want people to hold firmly optimistic attitudes toward the rain.
