Since time immemorial human being and animals like dogs, cats and etc gave lived together.

I have written an article about my dog under the name of "Lovely pet dog". This article is about my pet cat. My classmate who is studying Myanmar under the sponsorship of Ministry of Foreign Affairs brought Shwewa ,the cat, in a basket. It was born in foreign studints'hostel. although I thought it was a trouble for me, I did not have a heart to tell her to take it back. I decided to wait and see for two or three days. as I thought before, it was very afraid of the dog. It is natural for a 1 kg cat to be afraid of 20 kg dog.

The cat is like the one I kept in Japan in outer look. But, inner character is quite different. It is a bit aggressive. May be it is so because it is a he. It bites whatever it comes a cross. And it carries small things rolling. It jumps on to the mosquito net and plays at night. It never listens to my words for it is not intelligent. But is very good at doing evil things. what a naughty cat it is! It disappeared two or three times without anybody's knowledge. It is impossible for it to go out from veranda and the back door of the apartment on the fifth floor but it disappeared for some time. When it happened so, male house keeper had to look for it for about half day. Sometime the cat hid under the chair and once the door is opened, it runs swiftly out of the room at the speed of light.

So, I come to realize that it is always waiting for a chance to go out and it is good at doing evil things. I feel upset about it when it is too eager to go out whom it is mating season.

But, now, it is getting along with my pet dog "Yuu". It plays and sleeps with the dog. Its name is "Tail". It is called " Ah Myee" in Myanmar. I gave it the name because its tail is very long. we the pet dog, the pet cat and I live peacefully in Yangon.

I do apologise those who are not interested in cats and dogs but interested only in Myanmar. But if we have a look at in Yangon, cat families take a nap leisurely in the afternoon in front of shops in such a place like china Town. there are hotels in town that keep four or five cats.

To tell you about dogs, there are stray dogs that live in almost every streets as their territory that are not very wide. One day, about eight stray dogs came to fight Yuu and me to as soon as we entered a street. I have encountered such events two or three times. I had to drive them away with a loud noise. That was our fault to trespass their territory. although they are stray dogs, they want to rely on men and live with them.

While I am writing about this article, I suddenly remember my visit to Thalen city in eastern part of China. I went there about three years ago. There were many Japanese companies and restaurant, Karaoke Lounges and bars in the city. While I was watching elderly people dancing with interest in the garden, I realized the power of Chinese people. At the same time, I felt it was strange and it lacked something. During my stay there, I didn't see any cat or dog. It was very strange for me who love dogs. When I asked my friend guide, he said keeping dogs and cats was banned in the city.

Thalen was a beautiful city and the water in the city was very clear. I felt bored and something was lacking in such a developed and beautiful city for there is no cat or dog. Was I only person who felt like that?

Anyway, nobody blames me of keeping rather big dog and bad cat in such a place like Yangon. So, I think I like the city.
