Q 01 Why is music important in early childhood?

Children's hearing develops at its most rapid rate between the ages of four and six. In addition, children learn more in their first five years than any other period in their lives. Their little minds and bodies are thirsty for information and their brain is a sponge. It makes sense, therefore that the early years are the most beneficial times for musical experience.

Through music children learn to sing in the tune and move in time. Their concentration and coordination develop, and all other areas of learning are supported in fun activities. Music is one of the few activities that use both sides of the brain, logical and creative, ate the same time.

We hope you and your children enjoy your time with us!

Q 02 Program for age 3 to 7 years old

Children will develop good foundation of musical concepts with carefully designed programs to fit each child's developmental stage. Programs include Singing & Changing, Creative and Steady Beat Movement, Playing & Experiencing Various Instruments, Focused & Responsive Listening, Play Acting, Vocal & Instrumental Ensemble, and more........

Q 03 Why Do-Re-Mi recommend to start Piano/Keyboard Lessons only after 7 years old?

Because starting seven years old, children's fine motor skill (the skill of moving fingers, eg. pressing piano keys, typing with keyboard & so on..) develops very rapidly. So it is an appreciate timing to start Piano/'Keyboard lessons. Before this age, the rate of development of is very slow.

Q 04 What kind of skills can grow between zero to seven?

These Do-Re-Mi's age (zero-seven) is the most important age for developing of listening skill, Singing skill and Large Motor skill. And while they are having fun of music and movement, their right and left brains are working amazingly!! Do-Re-Mi's Music & Movement program in early childhood is food for brain as well as food for heart!
