Why is music important in early childhood? |
|
Children's hearing develops at its most rapid rate
between the ages of four and six. In addition, children
learn more in their first five years than any other
period in their lives. Their little minds and bodies
are thirsty for information and their brain is a sponge.
It makes sense, therefore that the early years are
the most beneficial times for musical experience.
Through music children learn to sing in the tune
and move in time. Their concentration and coordination
develop, and all other areas of learning are supported
in fun activities. Music is one of the few activities
that use both sides of the brain, logical and creative,
ate the same time.
We hope you and your children enjoy your time with
us! |

Why Do-Re-Mi recommend to start Piano/Keyboard
Lessons only after 7 years old? |
|
| Because starting seven years old, children's fine
motor skill (the skill of moving fingers, eg. pressing
piano keys, typing with keyboard & so on..) develops
very rapidly. So it is an appreciate timing to start
Piano/'Keyboard lessons. Before this age, the rate
of development of is very slow. |
